The cottage is situated right in the centre of the village, opposite the village pub and bus stop. Buses between Buckingham and Aylesbury pass through North Marston approximately every hour Mondays to Saturdays.
North Marston is 8 miles north of Aylesbury, about 15 minutes drive from Aylesbury Vale Parkway railway station from where trains take an hour into London Marylebone station. Leighton Buzzard, a 20 minute drive, has fast trains into London Euston (35 minutes).
The picturesque market town of Winslow is 4 miles north of North Marston. Winslow has a Farmer’s Market on the first Sunday of each month, and a variety of interesting and unique shops, an Indian restaurant, take-aways and other pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.
Buckingham is 6 miles further north, with a sports centre and swimming pool. Aylesbury offers a swimming pool complex, Waterside theatre and Odeon cinema.
